Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizinjo will contest the Senate poll from the Pakistan Peoples’ Party ticket.
Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizinjo has been granted the Pakistan Peoples’ Party ticket to contest the upcoming Senate elections from Balochistan. Ejaz Jakhrani, Member of the National Assembly (MNA) and senior party leader arrived in Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan, on March 4th and allocated the party ticket to Mr. Bizinjo, the former chief minister of the province.
Jakhrani was accompanied by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, newly elected MNA Malik Shah, Deputy Speaker of the Balochistan Legislative Assembly Ms. Ghazala Goula, PPP Balochistan President Mir Changaiz Jamali, and other provincial ministers.
The allocation of the Senate ticket to Mir Qudoos Bizinjo reflects the central leadership of the PPP’s trust and confidence in his qualities.
Mir Quddoos Bizinjo will contest the upcoming by-elections on the vacant Senate seats from Balochistan in the upper house of the bicameral legislature.
These three seats became vacant following the resignations of Anwar ul Haqq Kakar and Mir Sarfraz Bugti from the Balochistan Awami Party and Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri of Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam.
