The dead bodies of 9 people who were killed in the Nushki incident were sent to their native areas from Quetta after burial. PDMA and Edhi Ambulance sent the bodies. Among the dead, Sajid Imran, Muzamal Hussain, Mazhar Iqbal, Muhammad Abu Bakr, Tanzeel, and Muhammad Qasim belonged to Mandi Bahauddin. Rana Shahzeb belonged to Gujranwala, Javed Shahzad belonged to Afzalpur and Wasiq Farooq belonged to Wazirabad.
Last night, unknown armed men killed 9 people belonging to Punjab from the bus in Nushki. The bodies were brought to Quetta this morning.
The armed men stopped the passenger bus going to Quetta Taftan and checked the identity cards of the people and kidnapped the residents of Punjab and fled to the nearby mountains. The bodies of all the hostages were found under a bridge a short distance away. They had been shot dead. The deceased belonged to different districts of Punjab.
About one kilometer away from Nushki city, armed persons blocked the highway and searched the vehicles. When a vehicle did not stop during the search, 2 people in the vehicle were killed and 3 others were injured due to firing by the accused. The search operation of the security forces is going on to find the attackers.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has condemned the incident and said that the involved terrorists will be brought to a logical end. Heartfelt sympathy to the heirs. The purpose of terrorist incidents is to sabotage the peace and development of Balochistan.
