Pishin is my hometown, I am a native of Pishin, said Umar Ayub
“I am a native of Balochistan, my great grandparents migrated almost four centuries before from Pishin and settled in Hari Pur KP”.
It was told by the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and Leader of Pakistan Tahrik e Insaf Umar Ayub Khan while he arrived at his ancestral hometown Pishin Balochistan on Sunday. Mr. Ayub was invited by the Chamber of Commerce Pishin and the local leader of Pakistan Tahrik Asif Tareen.
Speaking office bearers of the chamber, Mr. Ayub highly appreciated the business community’s commendable efforts in promoting economic and business activities in Pishin despite limited resources.
He emphasized the importance of prioritizing the production sector to tackle economic challenges, stating that creating employment opportunities relies on developing the agricultural and industrial sectors, leading to an increase in the country’s overall GDP and revenue.
Mr. Ayub also promised to make every possible effort for the development of the Pishin Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Ayub mentioned a personal connection to Pishin, “I am happy to be here in my hometown, whenever I visit Balochistan I feel proud and connect with my past” he said.
This was Umar Ayub’s Second visit of Balochistan after February 8th general election.
Umar Ayub Khan visited Pishin Chamber of Commerce today Speaking to the officials of the chamber, he said that despite the limited resources, the efforts of the business community to promote economic and business activities in Pishin are commendable. To get the country out of economic challenges, special attention should be given to the production sector.
Employment opportunities will be created only by developing the agricultural and industrial sectors, and there will be a definite increase in the overall GDP and revenue of the country. Umar Ayub Khan said that he will try as much as possible for the development of the Pishin Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Pishin is my native place.
My ancestors migrated from Pishin to Haripur 400 years ago. Whenever I came to Balochistan, I felt a sense of belonging, not alienation. The Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly came to Pishin on the invitation of the Patron-in-Chief of the Pishin Chamber of Commerce and Industry Asif Tareen.
