Quetta, May 24, 2024 -The Pakistan Sports Board has organized a comprehensive five-day Sports training session for athletes and coaches in Quetta to enhance technical coaching skills and overall sports performance.
The multi-sports technical and refresher coaching course, attended by 60 physical education and sports science students and athletes from across Balochistan, highlighted the importance of technical sports coaching across all disciplines.
During the training, participants engaged in lectures and practical sessions covering a variety of topics essential for effective coaching. These included the role of a coach in sports, different coaching styles, and the principles of effective training.
Key areas of focus included fitness, knockout systems, anti-doping regulations, special diet plans for athletes, modern techniques and exercises to boost stamina and crucial time management skills.
