Current Account Surplus

For the first time in six months, Pakistan’s current account has achieved a surplus. The financial year 2024 has seen a 64% reduction in the deficit in the first five months, contributing to the positive balance in the current account. The policies implemented have resulted in a substantial decrease in the deficit, reaching $16 billion in the period from July to November.
