The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued notices to four political parties BNP, PKMAP, PPP, and JUI, in Quetta for violating the election code of conduct. The code of conduct prohibits the placement of election-related materials on government property or public places. The parties have been asked to remove the materials immediately.

The regional election commissioner has also clarified that the size of posters for election advertisements is limited to 18 by 23 inches, the size of handbills is limited to 9 by 6 inches, the size of banners is limited to 3 by 9 feet, and the size of portraits is limited to 2 by 3 feet.
The commission has warned that it will take strict action against any party that violates the code of conduct.
