Former PTI member Mobin Khilji has joined the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP). In a press conference in Quetta with Senate Chairman Mohammad Sadiq Sanjrani and BAP President Nawabzada Khalid Magsi, Mobin Khilji announced his unconditional inclusion in the party. During media interaction, the Senate Chairman mentioned a meeting with the participants of the Chamman sit-in. Federal Interior Minister reassured a swift resolution to the matter. BAP President Nawabzada Khalid Magsi expressed concerns about PTI’s involvement in the elections despite being a political party and mentioned PTI’s application in the Lahore High Court to sabotage the elections. Mobin Khilji was elected as an MPA from Quetta in the 2018 elections but announced his separation from PTI in a press club in Quetta on May 19, following the events of May 9.”
